We are looking for a creative and agile Social Media Assistant who will help develop, execute, and analyze social media campaigns, focusing on event and gameday content on both the Titans and Nissan Stadium social accounts. This role is highly collaborative and includes real-time coverage of Nissan Stadium concerts and events, including home games.
Position Overview: The Social Media Assistant will report to the Social Media Manager and work closely with the Stadium Ops, Events, Brand & Creative, and Fan Engagement teams to develop and execute social media content focusing on Nissan Stadium concerts and events and gameday coverage. This is an hourly, part-time position (up to 29 hours per week) that will require off-hours work on event and home game days.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, creating, and distributing content for the Nissan Stadium social media account.
- Lead live event coverage and social communications for all Nissan Stadium concerts and events on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X.
- Monitor and respond to fan questions in Meta Chat and Twitter/X DMs regarding event details such as parking, door times, accessibility, weather updates, etc.
- Produce and manage multi-purpose content creation for social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, as well as other new platforms that arise.
- Assist with live event coverage of Tennessee Titans events (community service, marketing events, premium events, etc.).
- Assist Social Media Managers and Original Content team with platform-specific video edits to social media best practices.
- Aid in the development of Nissan Stadium social media and content strategy.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations preferred. Professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- 1+ year of professional experience and in-depth knowledge with TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.
- Capturing and editing vertical video specifically for TikTok, Instagram Stories, Reels, and Snapchat.
- Strong familiarity with and understanding of best practices of TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong awareness of trends, trending audio, and pop culture – especially in music.
- Proficiency in in-platform editing, CapCut, and/or understanding of Adobe Premier is preferred.
- Strong understanding of best practices of all major social platforms.
- Strong work ethic and outstanding attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Ability to work extended hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
