Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Football Solutions Developer to join our dynamic team. This critical role will play an essential part in supporting our football operations by designing, developing, and maintaining proprietary web applications that support coaching, scouting, and other football departments. Your work will enhance the efficiency of the team’s scouting processes and facilitate the seamless integration of analytical football data into the team’s daily operations, impacting decision-making and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using JavaScript libraries including React, jQuery, and Angular.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Flask (Python) and .NET Core (C#).
• Design and implement user interfaces with a focus on user experience and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including coaching and scouting departments, to define, design, and ship new features tailored to football operations.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Develop and integrate data visualization components, including interactive dashboards, using proprietary third-party tools to present data effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of professional experience in web development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript libraries such as React, jQuery, and Angular.
• Experience with .NET Core (C#) and Flask (Python).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful API integration.
• Strong T-SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Proven expertise in data visualization, including interactive dashboards, using proprietary third-party tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for football and understanding of football operations is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks or libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS Cloud Services is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
