We are seeking personable and engaging individuals to join our Guest Experience team as Ushers/Ticket Takers. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all guests attending events at Highmark Stadium.

Specific Job Duties:

• Inspect areas for safety hazards and report issues to Event Command.
• Greet guests as they arrive, welcoming them to Highmark Stadium.
• Properly scan every guest’s ticket to ensure valid entry.
• Provide accurate, detailed directions to stadium locations such as seating areas, restrooms, and concession areas.
• Check tickets as guests enter the seating area and direct them to their ticketed location.
• Enforce the "Wait for Whistle" policy.
• Conduct aisle walks throughout the event, engaging with fans and addressing any observed issues.
• Check tickets and wristband guests for re-entry at all club and suite locations.
• Recognize and resolve customer concerns effectively in conjunction with Stadium Security and Guest Experience Supervisors.
• Thank all guests for attending as they leave.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills.
• Personable, engaging, and outgoing demeanor.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to different situations.
• Team player who works well with others.
• Ability to attend mandatory training classes, all Buffalo Bills home games, and additional events as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Ability to walk long distances, climb stairs, and stand for 6 hours or more.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for 6 hours or more.
• Reliable transportation to and from Highmark Stadium.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays when required.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older and successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior customer service experience.
• Ability to understand and utilize technology, including iPads, iPhones, ticket scanners, laptops, and radios.

Compensation:

The starting pay is $16.50/hour. This position is part of the SEIU Local 200 Ushers and Ticket Takers Union. Union members are required to pay yearly membership dues each season.
