Koa Sports is seeking a dedicated and experienced Flag Football Site Coordinator to manage and oversee our flag football programs. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of game days and the overall success of our flag football events.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure Koa Flag staff is punctual, prepared, trained, and in proper Koa Gear.
- Drive the Koa vehicle to the field and properly set up/break down the flag football fields.
- Handle game day issues and disputes.
- Assist injured players, including the ability to call 911 if necessary.
- Fill in and coach or officiate flag football games as needed.
- Help Koa Management recruit, train, and schedule all Koa coaches (including parent coaches) and referees.
- Professionally interact with parents.
- Inventory all flag football equipment.
- Answer general phone calls and flag football-specific questions.
- This position reports directly to Koa’s CEO, Tony Korson.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Played at least high school football.
- Proficient use of a stopwatch.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and electronic.
- Availability on weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Able to lift equipment of at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to properly line a field (or set up a field).
- Capability to complete 20 continuous pushups in 30 seconds or less.
