- Oversee scheduling and operation of on-field video capture for practices, games, and events.
- Manage Baseball department use of Teamworks and Smartabase, serving staff, players, and families.
- Coordinate scheduling of game operation personnel, including umpires, PA announcers, and Trackman operators.
- Facilitate recruitment video production and distribution in collaboration with the Head of College Placement.
- Coordinate setup, operation, and tagging of ball tracking technology for practices and games as assigned.
- Own and maintain GameChanger/MaxPreps statistics and schedules to ensure accuracy post-game.
- Collaborate with equipment managers and essential personnel to meet gear and equipment needs.
- Film and edit various on-field drills during youth camps, team practices, and professional training sessions with coaching staff.
- Assist Program Manager with travel logistics for the Baseball program.
- Research and assess new player development technology, recommending equipment and process enhancements as needed.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of technology equipment and supplies necessary for operation.
- Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the baseball facility, managing project timelines and coordinating with vendors or campus operations teams.
- Lead IMGA-owned baseball events, overseeing team curation and ensuring seamless organization and execution.
- Administer all contact sheets, program intake forms, FHSAA clearance forms, and assist with Camp/Academy check-in processes.
- Assist in parent relations and communications throughout the year.
- Work with other departments on campus to ensure team training and operational needs are met for IMG Academy and all high school, college, and professional baseball teams visiting campus.
- Produce team rosters, manuals, and recruiting packets for the baseball program.
- Support the Camp Director in operational needs throughout the year.
- Serve as Academic Attendance liaison for the Baseball department.
- Manage office supplies and handle IT troubleshooting for the baseball department.
- Ensure all assigned tasks comply with Academy, FHSAA, and NCAA guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Bachelor’s degree in sports/business administration or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Teamworks/Smartabase, Hit Trax, Trackman, and Playsight.
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend games or practices both at home and on the road.
- Superior work ethic, ability to take direction, and desire to collaborate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience using Canva or similar graphic design tools for creating engaging visual content.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, macros, and data analysis.
- Expertise in both Python and R for data analysis, statistical computing, and data visualization.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
- Ability to hold, carry, and set up video and ball tracking technology.
- Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Ability to move around campus, including gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
