Assist the Head Softball Coach with all aspects of the program including but not limited to: team travel, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, advising and monitoring eligibility and academic progress of student-athletes, participation in fundraising activities, communicating and teaching the fundamentals and philosophies of the game, and assisting in the development, planning, and execution of practice, game planning, and scouting. Serve as a professional leader and role model to the student-athletes within the program.

Job Duties:

• Communicate and teach the fundamentals and philosophies of the game.
• Assist in the development, planning, and execution of practice, game planning, and scouting.
• Serve as a professional leader and role model to the student-athletes within the program.
• Advise and monitor eligibility and academic progress of student-athletes.
• Participate in fundraising activities and camps.
• Coordinate team travel.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management or a related field.
• 2-5 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level in the sports of Softball or Baseball.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Sports Management or a related field.
• 6-10 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level in the sports of Softball or Baseball.
