Responsibilities:
Instruction & Coaching:
- Provide private and group lessons for all ages and skill levels in both tennis and pickleball.
- Develop and implement instructional programs, clinics, and camps.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in racquet sports to provide high-quality coaching.
Program Development:
- Collaborate with the Racquets Director to design and execute a racquets calendar that includes tournaments, social events, and instructional sessions.
- Promote player participation in both competitive and social activities.
- Work with other departments to enhance member experiences through cross-functional programs.
Member Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with members to understand and meet their racquet sport needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering an inclusive and positive environment.
- Partner with the Racquets Director and Membership & Communications Director to promote racquet programs through various channels.
Facility & Equipment Management:
- Oversee the maintenance of racquet sports facilities and equipment.
- Ensure courts and equipment are in excellent condition.
Staff Management:
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising a team of racquet sports professionals and support staff.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to enhance staff performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in sports management, recreation, or a related field (preferred).
- Certified tennis or pickleball instructor/coach (USPTA, PTR, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a country club or recreational facility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about racquet sports, sportsmanship, and promoting a healthy, competitive environment.
