Work Schedule:

• 2-3 hours per day (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m), Monday-Friday
• Various nights and weekends during the season

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Support Head Football Coach while instructing athletes about the fundamentals of football.
• Attend all practices and coach at individual, small group, and team levels.
• Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
• Communicate effectively with coaching staff, student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
• Participate in special events such as banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies.
• Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization.
• Concussion certification.
• Experience coaching football at the high school level preferred.
