The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Head Women’s Basketball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the women’s basketball program, including coaching, recruiting, program development, and student-athlete welfare. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Athletics. Pitt-Bradford is a NCAA Division III institution and a founding member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC).
Salary: $40,000 – $43,000/year (Ten-month a year paid over twelve months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a competitive basketball program that emphasizes both athletic and academic excellence.
- Recruit high-quality student-athletes who are committed to the values of the university and the sport.
- Design and execute practice plans, game strategies, and skill development programs.
- Foster a positive team environment and uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
- Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes.
- Manage game-day operations and collaborate with athletic administration on scheduling and logistics.
- Oversee budget management, fundraising efforts, and community engagement related to the program.
- Represent the university and program at public events, conferences, and media engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field preferred.
- Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level, with a proven track record of success in recruiting and player development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with university administration, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is preferred.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for administering all aspects of the Women's Basketball program including coaching, promoting, requisitioning and maintaining equipment, supervising assistants, monitoring academic and disciplinary standing of student-athletes, and fulfilling other such duties as they arise and are assigned.
