The Milwaukee Admirals are seeking a Manager of Ticket Operations to oversee and manage our ticketing functions. This position will play a crucial role in maximizing revenue through effective sales strategies, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth ticketing operations for all events.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the use of Ticketmaster Software, including Archtics, Account Manager, TM1 Events, and Host (as needed).
- Serve as a point of contact between Milwaukee Admirals and WCD Box Office, Ticketmaster, Fevo, and other partners.
- Design and implement sales strategies with the Sales Department for season ticket packages and group products to maximize revenue generation.
- Handle all revenue, game-day, and settlement reporting to leadership.
- Manage and guide the Ticket Operations Coordinator, overseeing daily activities and fostering professional growth.
- Coordinate with the Communication Department on the marketing of single-game initiatives and special pricing offers.
- Manage the online presence of Milwaukee Admirals, including single-game sales, season ticket packages, group sales, and the Admirals Account Manager portal.
- Set up and maintain all necessary hardware, such as computers and ticket printers.
- Build price codes and ticket types for various games, packages, ice passes, and other team events.
- Complete monthly payments for Admirals 365 and coordinate the resolution of any failed charges.
- Assist with the fulfillment of Season Membership Benefits.
- Manage and create all holiday ticket specials (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, 12 Days of Deals).
- Manage the distribution of complimentary tickets to team, coaches, staff, USO/Veteran Partnership, ADA Country Program, and other ticket programs.
- Deliver excellent customer service in person, at games, and while taking inbound calls.
- Submit data to the American Hockey League as requested.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in managing the daily operations of a ticket office, preferably in the sports industry.
- Knowledge of various ticketing software programs, preferably Ticketmaster and Archtics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong management and supervisory skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, peers, and management at all levels.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Availability to work all Admirals home games and certain promotional events in addition to the traditional 9 to 5, Monday to Friday schedule.
