Join our team at John Newcombe Country Club as a Full-Time Racquet Sports Professional. We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide the ultimate racquet sports experience through high-quality tennis instruction and exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties:

• Provide instruction for all levels of players, from beginners to advanced, in both private and group settings.
• Promote and conduct tennis clinics, private lessons, special events, and programs to attract and retain members and guests.
• Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive tennis lessons and programs to ensure ongoing participation and skill development.
• Supervise play and ensure proper charging of fees.
• Educate students on tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, and etiquette.
• Enforce all club rules and regulations governing the use of the facility and its equipment.
• Perform racquet stringing services.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to member and guest inquiries, comments, and concerns.
• Incorporate safe work practices in all job activities.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and professionalism through courteous service, cooperation, hospitality, and sensitivity.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 1-year experience required.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stand, walk, use hands, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally sit.
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

• Frequently work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Moderate noise level.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job, such as communicating with English-speaking customers or co-workers and reading equipment manuals.
