Volo San Diego is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Referees to join our kickball team. As a Referee, you will be responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being outside, love sports, and are seeking supplemental income.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe, fun, social, and fair environment for all players.
• Understand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport’s rules.
• Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to commute to Solana Beach.
• Must have played the sport before and be familiar with the rules.
• Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks, with the following availability:
  • Weekday availability from 5:00pm-10:00pm.
  • Weekend availability between 9am - 7pm.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from field locations.

What We Look For:

• People with a passion for sports and social activities.
• Must value punctuality and professionalism.
• Prior referee experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in diffusing challenging situations is a plus.
