Sedgefield Country Club is seeking a dynamic and passionate Tennis and Pickleball professional. Sedgefield is currently renovating six Pickleball courts and one hard court.

Reports to: Director of Tennis & SCC Club Manager
Classification: Head Tennis and Pickleball Professional

Education and/or Experience:

• Collegiate team experience desirable, preferably with a 4.5 or above rating.
• Two to three years competitive playing experience and/or tennis supervisory experience.
• Experience running junior development programs.
• Knowledge of court maintenance.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations:

• Able to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults on indoor and outdoor with soft or hard surfaces.
• Ability to re-string, re-grip, and repair rackets.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
• Knowledge of how to run a Pickleball clinic for adults and juniors.

Job Tasks/Duties:

• Provides lessons and clinics for members and guests relating to the techniques and strategies of tennis and Pickleball.
• Administers and enforces club tennis policies and procedures regarding play on club courts.
• Strings rackets and performs other light equipment repairs.
• Coordinates with F&B department to maintain adequate beverage inventory at tennis facility.
• Coordinates maintenance, repair, and cleaning of courts with Grounds and Maintenance departments.
• Manages the tennis shop.
• Posts all charges from the tennis shop in the accounting system.
• Works closely with the Director of Tennis to ensure members have a great experience.
