Description

Job Summary: Support Club goals such as – developing new players, maintaining unprecedented member satisfaction, and increasing membership and club profitability – by conducting excellent tennis programs and providing exceptional customer service to increase repeat and new business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, professional, and stimulating tennis programs and lessons.
  • Demonstrate proper tennis techniques; evaluate students of all skill levels; provide feedback for individual improvements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of up-to-date tennis techniques and concepts.
  • Tailor instruction and information to be appropriate for students’ particular skill levels.
  • Contribute program and outreach ideas to grow tennis department business.
  • Organize, promote, and/or attend: programs, leagues, special events, tournaments, workshops, trainings, community outreach events, and department/committee meetings as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate billing and payroll information; submit all required documentation to appropriate departments on time.
  • Ensure member satisfaction expectations are met to reduce attrition rate.
  • Conduct proper inspection of courts/facilities/equipment daily to ensure they are maintained to professional and safety standards prior to use. Report any concerns to maintenance, the Tennis Director, and/or the General Manager as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Employee Handbook.
