The Orlando Valkyries, based in Orlando, Florida, are seeking enthusiastic and motivated college-level students to join our professional volleyball team as interns. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in team operations and position yourself for a career in the sports industry upon graduation. Our program emphasizes practical experience, significant challenges, varying daily operational requirements, and opportunities for creativity, resourcefulness, and excellence. This internship is available for both full-time and part-time candidates, eligible to work for college credit during the winter and spring internship season and the 2025 PVF season.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of Orlando Valkyries team operations, including training camp, daily practices, game day setup and breakdown, and compliance with league guidelines.
• Work closely with coaches, trainers, team operations personnel, players, and practice facility and arena operations staff to meet all player and coach needs.
• Assist with team travel and logistical needs.
• Support full-time staff with team operations requirements.
• Attend and staff additional events involving players and coaches.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current college-level student eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
• Strong interest in sports team operations and the sports industry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to handle varying daily operational requirements.
• Creativity, resourcefulness, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
