Sporting Kansas City is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Youth Soccer Programs Internship. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, behind-the-scenes environment with the chance to directly impact professional soccer in Kansas City. Our collaborative environment is full of learning opportunities designed to help interns evolve their capabilities, challenge their strengths, and reach their fullest potential.

Essential Functions:

• Work in a team environment to enhance our strategy and philosophy of play for children ages 2 to 14 years old, typically in groups of 10 children per class, at various facilities throughout the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
• Lead and assist with 45–60 minute training sessions that are fun and engaging.
• Take a child-centered approach to coaching children to enjoy soccer at its earliest foundation.
• Emphasize and promote the importance of active and healthy lifestyles.
• Travel to and from various facilities to maintain and operate programming.
• Travel to various cities throughout the Midwest and represent Sporting KC Youth Programs in a camp setting.
• Attend all Sporting Kansas City home games and non-soccer related events.
• Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates professionally at all times.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
