Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up and organize dugout prior to game including bats, helmets, coolers, etc.
• Shag balls during batting practice (BP).
• Retrieve bats, balls, and other equipment from playing field during games.
• Provide umpire with game balls/water when requested.
• Break down dugout, along with putting away all equipment used during game.
• Clean shoes/cleats.
• Equipment load-in/load-out.
• Sideline setup & breakdown, ball retrieval during Memphis 901 FC matches.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the rules of baseball.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as team schedules require.
• Willingness to learn with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
• Ability to walk/run.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
