We are seeking two creative and social/digital media savvy interns to assist primarily with game night social media, as well as the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and all concerts, events, and restaurants in the PPL Center. This role requires a fun, positive, and team-oriented personality that aligns with the vision of the Phantoms and PPL Center as the epicenter of fun and entertainment in the Lehigh Valley.
Reports To: Sports & Entertainment Marketing Manager
Duration: Full Season (October - April)
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be available to work nights and weekends, assisting with Phantoms home & away game social media, and as needed for PPL Center events.
- Assist with creating content for our social media, emails, website, and mobile app, tracking trends online and across other teams/venues.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the "FANDOM" associated with the Phantoms Hockey Team and assist in reaching revenue goals.
- Create weekly analytics reports for all Phantoms and PPL Center social media accounts.
- Advocate for growing the organization’s presence in the community.
Job Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Preferred Skills:
- Sports and entertainment experience is preferred.
- Photography/videography experience is a plus.
- HTML and/or graphic design knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of and appreciation for professional hockey.
