In-Game Entertainment Coordinator
Description

The Madison Capitols are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented In-Game Entertainment Coordinator to join our game night operations team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and execute all music-related activities during home games. This individual will ensure that our fans have an engaging and memorable experience by providing high-energy, timely, and appropriate music throughout the game. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and sports, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to attend all Capitols home games during the 2024-2025 season, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Operate music equipment and software during all home games to create an exciting and engaging atmosphere for fans.
  • Follow a detailed game script that may vary for each game, ensuring all planned audio cues are executed correctly and on time.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to actively engage and interact with fans.
  • Strong personal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, service-oriented mentality that assists every department with its respective needs.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently with a can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to accept all tasks assigned, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Understanding that working in sports is different from being a fan; this position may not guarantee the ability to watch games, as many valuable roles within the organization are behind the scenes.

The Team:

The Madison Capitols, members of the United States Hockey League (USHL), are celebrating their 10th anniversary and are coming off a record-breaking season on the ice. Off the ice, the Capitols had their highest average attendance since the team's first season back in 2014-15.
