Position Overview:
We are hiring a full-time Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This role involves managing all golf and golf-related activities at our facility. Ideal candidates are positive, capable of working in both small and large groups, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous industry experience is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing facility and staff
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Coordinate individual, group, and tournament play as directed by the 1st Assistant Golf Professional and/or Head Golf Professional
• Assume 1st Assistant Golf Professional’s duties in their absence
• Produce daily reports related to rounds, sales, etc. for management
• Work closely with Marshall and Starter to monitor all aspects of play including starting, pace of play, safety, and golf course markings
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to expedite the check-in process
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

• Regularly required to reach with arms and hands
• Often required to walk, stand, talk, hear, handle, feel, or operate objects
• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards, and electrical hazards
• Exposure to pollens and dust
• Noise level is moderately quiet
• Ability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
