- Support the Head Baseball Coach while instructing athletes about the fundamentals of baseball.
- Attend all practices and have the ability to coach at an individual, small group, and team level.
- Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
- Communicate effectively with coaching staff, student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
- Participate in special events including banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies.
- Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
- Abide by strict confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- A current Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization.
- Concussion certification.
- Experience coaching football at the high school level preferred.
