Work Schedule:
- 2-3 hours per day (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Monday-Friday
- Various nights and weekends during the season
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Support the Head Football Coach while instructing athletes about the fundamentals of football.
- Attend all practices and coach at an individual, small group, and team level.
- Model sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.
- Communicate effectively with coaching staff, student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
- Participate in special events such as banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies.
- Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
- Abide by strict confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- A current Iowa Department of Education coaching authorization.
- Concussion certification.
- Experience coaching football at the high school level preferred.

Compensation: $4,189 season stipend
