Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Professional II is an entry-level position responsible for coordinating various golf-related activities at the club. You’ll work alongside PGA TOUR players, club members, and guests to ensure a premium golf experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of professional golf experience
• Registered PGA apprentice or current PGA Member in good standing
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of golf course operations and practices

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assist PGA TOUR players, members, and guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golf experience
• Greet and assist members and guests with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage the golf shop, opening, closing, and securing areas as needed
• Operate the point-of-sale system, collect fees, and process transactions accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the golf shop
• Sell and promote merchandise, becoming knowledgeable about Golf Shop products and sales techniques
• Assist with club repairs, physical inventories, and management of the club's handicap system
• Participate in player development programs and club tournament events
• Complete required paperwork (e.g., daily usage reports, inventory, variance reports)
• Special projects or other duties as assigned

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Professional office and outdoor work environment
• Requires standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to comply with all applicable safety and health regulations

Work Schedule Expectations:
Flexible shifts as needed, based on business demands.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position acts as a team lead.
