We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Basketball Coach who can inspire and mentor athletes, help develop their basketball skills, and instill the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. As a key member of our team, you’ll be guiding players of varying age groups and skill levels to achieve their personal and team goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and conduct engaging basketball training sessions for various age groups and skill levels.
• Develop and implement individualized and group training programs that align with the athletes' skill level and team goals.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to athletes, teaching basketball techniques, strategies, and game fundamentals.
• Foster an environment of positivity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for all involved.
• Monitor and track player progress, and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and games.
• Assist in organizing and overseeing team events, practices, and competitions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest basketball coaching techniques and trends to continuously improve coaching methods.
• Maintain equipment and manage inventory as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a basketball coach or assistant coach.
• Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Ability to work with a wide range of age groups and skill levels.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.
• High level of patience, empathy, and understanding when working with players.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for games and tournaments.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Coaching certification or relevant qualification is a plus.
