How the availability check works
Enter the ZIP or postal code you want to search in the search field. You can search multiple ZIP or postal codes at the same time by separating each code with a comma.
After entering the ZIP or postal code(s), click the “Check” button. If the ZIP or postal code is valid, the system will display a list of available sports and the corresponding athlete population for each area.
Each result will indicate whether the target athlete population is “Licensed” or “Not Licensed.” Results may also be identified as “Exclusive” or “Non-Exclusive.”
- Licensed – The target athlete population for that sport has already been claimed by an Area Scouts representative and is no longer available.
- Not Licensed – The target athlete population is currently available for that sport.
- Exclusive – The target athlete population is assigned to a specific role within the Area Scouts system. Click “Show Details” to see which role it is assigned to.
- Non-Exclusive – The target athlete population is not restricted to a specific role and can be assigned to any eligible role within the Area Scouts system.
- N/A – Indicates that the target athlete population does not have an applicable exclusive role.
Use the ZIP/Postal Code Search to quickly determine which sports and athlete populations are available in a specific geographic area.
