Laramie County School District #1 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Coach to join our athletics team. The ideal candidate will assist in coaching and developing student-athletes, fostering a positive and competitive environment, and ensuring adherence to all district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid coaching certificate issued by the Professional Teaching Standards Board, as required by the State of Wyoming.
• High School diploma required; college education preferred.
• Previous coaching experience or relevant experience in golf is desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach, students, and the athletics department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing practice sessions.
• Provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes to improve their skills and performance.
• Monitor and promote academic and athletic progress of student-athletes.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and competitions.
• Uphold and enforce the rules, policies, and standards of the school district and the sport.
