Discovery Junior High is seeking a dedicated and passionate Football Coach for the upcoming 2024 season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating middle school students, ensuring a positive and educational experience within the athletics program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, teach, and motivate middle school football players.
• Promote the role of education-based athletics in the overall educational experience.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and program stakeholders.
• Develop and implement strategies and teaching points fundamental to the sport of football.
• Articulate the program’s purpose, emphasizing the benefits of participation beyond athletic development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of education-based athletics and its importance within the educational experience.
• Proven ability to positively influence and motivate middle school students.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and teaching methods.
